Описание
Wisteria floribunda ‘Domino’ was considered a cultivar (‘Issai’) of the hybrid W.x formosa ( a crossing of W. sinensis x W. floribunda) up till recently, and is still often given this name. It’s a popular and very elegant Wisteria with numerous, vivid lilac-blue flowers. The flowers are palatable, but the legumes and seeds are poisonous.
This cultivar has been know since 1940. It’s probably a natural hybrid, which has originated in Japan.

- Почва: Humus rich, not to fertile, well drained but humid soil that never dries out. The soil can’t contain any lime, or the leaves will turn yellow. A pH of 6,0-7.0 is ideal.

- Особенности: Wisteria blossoms on short side branches of the main branches. Annual trimming is necessary to keep the plant into it’s form and to stimulate blossoming. Guiding against horizontal ropes gives a deceleration of the sap stream and stimulates flower bud formation.
